Comprehensive Author Guidelines for the Applied Research in Optics and Laser Technology Journal
1. Article Title
Language: Titles must be provided in both Persian and English, with accurate scientific equivalence.
Font and Size: Persian: B Nazanin, 18 pt | English: Times New Roman, Bold, 14 pt
Characteristics: Concise, informative, including main keywords; avoid non-standard abbreviations or extra symbols.
2. Author Information and Affiliations
List full names in the format: First Name Last Name.
Affiliations should include the research group, faculty, university or institution, city, and country.
Do not include academic titles (e.g., Dr., Prof.) in the affiliation section.
The corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*) and their email must be provided in the submission system.
3. Abstract and Keywords
Persian Abstract: 100–200 words, B Nazanin, 12 pt. Use Persian equivalents of Latin terms; English equivalents may be added as footnotes.
English Abstract: On a separate page, including title, authors, affiliations, abstract, and keywords, Times New Roman, 11 pt.
Keywords: 3–6 relevant scientific keywords.
4. Introduction
Manuscripts should be formatted in two columns to ensure alignment of formulas and figures with text.
Clearly state the research background, necessity, and objectives.
Present original and innovative findings.
Maximum length: 10,000 words including tables and figures.
5. Methods Section
All tables, charts, and figures must include Persian labels, B Nazanin font, and appropriately sized axes.
Latin formulas: Times New Roman, 11 pt, created using MathType.
Figure captions: below the figure | Table captions: above the table, in Persian, matching the font size of the axes.
English equivalents may be provided in footnotes, Times New Roman, 9 pt.
6. Discussion and Conclusion
Clearly analyze and summarize the findings.
Cite sources in-text using sequential numbers in bracket [].
Reference list at the end of the article must be in English, maintaining the same sequential order as in-text citations.
7 . Conflict of Interest Form
Authors must download, complete, sign, and upload the conflict-of-interest form in the submission system.
List all participating institutions, universities, or organizations.
The corresponding author confirms the authenticity of the content, originality, non-simultaneous submission to other journals, and transfer of all publication rights to the publisher.
The form ensures compliance with ethical research practices, including prevention of plagiarism, data fabrication, and simultaneous submissions.
8. Acknowledgements
Acknowledge only individuals or organizations that provided financial or scientific support but did not participate in writing the manuscript.
9. References
Include only sources cited in the text that are published or accepted.
Sequential numbering from [1] onward; Persian references should be marked as [In Persian].
Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt
Reference format: First initial of given name(s). Last name, Article title, Journal name, Volume (Year), Pages.
In-text citation examples:
Research shows that laser application in bioimaging improves accuracy [4].
Similar results were reported by Ahmadi et al [2-6].
